Have you ever felt stuck in a rut, unable to move forward and improve yourself? It's a common feeling and one that can be challenging to overcome. However, there is a way to break free from this state of mind and become a healthier and sturdier version of yourself.

Similar to how a seed has to break open and push through the soil to become a healthy and sturdy plant, we also need to face challenges and difficulties to improve ourselves. Pain and suffering give us a chance to confront our weaknesses and limitations and provide us with the possibility to overcome them.

Naturally, this does not imply that we should search for pain and suffering or view them as admirable. Instead, we should acknowledge that they are normal aspects of our existence.

But what about the pain and suffering that we experience in our daily lives? It's easy to view these feelings as negative and something to be avoided.

However, what if we looked at them differently?

According to the concept of non-duality, everything boils down to the understanding that all people and objects are essentially consciousness, and there is no distinction between them. Therefore, events occur as they naturally do, without any separation. Life's playing out, and we are just watching.

This means that feeling pain and suffering is a sign of something living within you. It's an opportunity to dive deeper into your emotions and get closer to liberation. But how can you embrace these feelings?

First, it's important to understand that pain and suffering result from unacceptance.

Our resistance to these feelings makes us suffer, not the feelings themselves. When we have a lot of fear inside, we start seeing the world as scary and unpredictable. To the fearful person, the world can be very scary. To the angry person, the world can seem like a mess, which makes them more annoyed. And to the guilty person, the world can be full of temptation and wrongdoing that's hard to ignore. Our thoughts and feelings shape how we see the world around us.

So, how can we let go of this resistance and embrace our pain and suffering? It starts by finding where you feel anxious or uneasy and focusing on that feeling with all your attention. Don't try to change it or make it go away. Sit with it and see what happens. Allow yourself to feel whatever comes up without judgment.

Over time, you will appreciate your pain because it allows you to dive deeper into your emotions and get closer to liberation. Try to see suffering as a friend, and accept whatever happens to you.

When you feel uneasy, please take a moment to focus on the sensation itself. Let go of any thoughts tied to it by your mind, and embrace that you can still feel the love you feel even when you're scared, sad, or anxious.

This can change your life quickly, and soon, you won't be bothered by those feelings anymore. You might still have them, but they won't control you. Imagine how different life would be if you didn't fight against things and just accepted them.

Life would be smooth, and you wouldn't be scared because you're not fighting against fear. Fear wouldn't be a problem because you're friends with it. You wouldn't be anxious, worried, or always trying to please people, and you wouldn't fear rejection.

You decided to face those feelings instead of pushing them away. You decided to embrace all parts of life, the good and the bad. Yes, life is not always pretty and positive. Life is a journey full of ups and downs. But by embracing both the positive and the negative, you can become a healthier and sturdier version of yourself.
